We also try to do everything electronically, not printing dead tree documents unless necessary, and working asychronously. This approach has the advantage also of requiring and ensuring great communication and coordination, and it leaves a "paper trail" of sorts for later team members or stakeholders to peruse to come up to speed on any application, system, project or venture.
